Koikoi: Untold Legends

I participated in a game jam hosted by Maliyo Games. The Jam ran from 04-07-2022 to 11-07-2022 and had over 25 participants with 7 games submitted at the end. I worked in a team of 2.

Day 1

  • We brainstormed ideas for the game
  • Wrote a brief game design document
  • Created Features/Tasks/Subtask based on the game design document
  • Setup a Jira project for the game to track tasks
  • Setup a Github repo for the project
  • Setup a Unity project.

  • Re-scoped project based on development feedback
  • Implemented a UIWindow Manager with notifications using Breeze Tools
  • Implemented Random names for the kids
  • Replaced main character model

  • Imported and added particles effects to Dorm room scene

  • Implemented vfx for Boss attack
  • Added play instructions to dorm and dungeon scenes

  • Modified enemy material using Graphics Tools
  • Added hit reactions to boss and player
  • Added an attack indicator to boss
  • Added a cooldown to player’s special attack.
