Privacy Policy for Robobreaker

Docile Fern Studios built Robobreaker as a mobile game. This Service is provided by Docile Fern Studios and is intended for use as is.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use Robobreaker. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Robobreaker does not require you to create an account to play. We do not intentionally ask you to provide directly identifying personal information to use the core game.

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and the contents of your request.

Gameplay and diagnostic information

Robobreaker uses Aptabase for privacy-focused analytics. Based on the current implementation, the game sends event data such as:

  • app session starts
  • level started, restarted, and completed events
  • gameplay metrics such as level name, score, balls used, and session duration
  • economy events such as stage completion bonuses and paddle rentals
  • app version, build number, build identifier, platform, and whether the build is a development build

Robobreaker is configured not to intentionally collect personally identifiable information through its own analytics events.

Robobreaker offers in-app purchases using Unity In-App Purchasing and platform billing services such as Google Play. When you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by the relevant app store or platform provider, not directly by Docile Fern Studios.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited purchase-related information needed to validate or fulfill the purchase, such as product identifiers, transaction status, and store-generated receipts or purchase confirmations.

Local device storage

Robobreaker stores some game data locally on your device to make the game work properly. This may include:

  • coin balance and paddle rental state
  • unlocked items and progression data
  • scores and level-related progress
  • audio, control, and other gameplay settings

This local data is stored on your device using Unity and platform storage mechanisms such as PlayerPrefs.

How We Use Information

We use information collected through Robobreaker to:

  • provide and operate the game
  • save your progress and settings on your device
  • process and restore in-app purchases
  • understand overall gameplay trends and improve balance, stability, and features
  • diagnose crashes, bugs, and other technical issues
  • respond to support requests

Advertising

Robobreaker does not display third-party advertisements.

Third-Party Services

Robobreaker uses third-party services that may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. These services may collect technical information such as device information, IP address, app activity, or transaction information when required to provide their services.

Log Data

If an error occurs while you use Robobreaker, we or our third-party service providers may collect technical log data. This data may include information such as your device IP address, device model, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of use, and other diagnostic statistics.

Robobreaker does not use browser cookies directly. However, third-party services integrated into the app may use similar technologies or identifiers to operate their services, process purchases, or produce aggregate analytics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

Local save data remains on your device until you remove it, reset the app data, or uninstall the app, subject to your platform's behavior.

Analytics and transaction-related information may be retained by DOcile Fern Studios and its service providers for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, analyze performance, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information associated with Robobreaker. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Robobreaker is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete that information where reasonably possible.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. You should review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you use.

Your Choices

Depending on your device and platform, you may be able to:

  • uninstall the app to stop further collection through the app
  • reset local app data through your device settings
  • manage purchase, privacy, and advertising preferences through your Google Play or device account settings

If you contact us, you may also request that we review or delete support information you have provided to us, subject to legal or operational obligations.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of Robobreaker after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
